Train the Trainer is a great event for new instructors to learn tips, tricks and techniques from other instructors and a place to share ideas and experiences from the class room. Not only can new instructors gain valuable information, but experienced instructors can possibly get some new ideas for their classrooms as well as share and contribute to the ideas being presented. This years Train the Trainer is being held at California Waterfowl Associations Grizzly Ranch on Grizzly Island. You can find directions by using the calendar on our website, click on the event on March 11th.
Often subjects covered are things like Technology in the class room where Power Point presentations are discussed and shared, Archery and Shotgun shooting instruction, Survival and Black powder presentations. Lt. Blake also attends and helps with question and answer sessions. This year he will also do a presentation for those who were unable to attend the Annual Training Conference at Rolling Hills Casino, which will be a satellite conference and count for your annual training credits which are required.
There is a continental style breakfast and a lunch will be provided. The cost is $20.00 per person and the space is limited so reservations are required so please contact Bill Adams and or you can log in and register on the DFW website. Look for it under Instructor Resources and Satellite Conferences.
